Interfaith Council Annual Luncheon features Danielle Butin of the AFYA Foundation

Scarsdale-Hartsdale Women's Interfaith Council Luncheon

AFYA Foundation founder and Executive Director Danielle Butin will speak about the  organization, which, since its founding in 2007, has collected and shipped six million pounds of donated medical and humanitarian supplies to clinics, hospitals and disaster zones around the world.  Join us for lunch, hosted by Sacred Heart Church of Scarsdale, to learn about the work of this amazing Westchester County-based organization.  Food will be provided by the Turkish Cultural Center.

The luncheon begins at 12 noon, followed by the program.  At 11:30, there will be a "sanctuary talk" by a clergy member of Our Lady of Shkroda, a beautiful sanctuary.

The Scarsdale-Hartsdale Women's Interfaith Council has been seeking greater understanding among faith traditions and presenting programs to the public for nearly ninety years.  It was the first organization of its kind in America.

All are welcome.  Tickets are $15 and can be paid at the door, but reservations are necessary.  To reserve, please call Ruth Boser (914)472-6058 or Alison Rose (914)723-7617.
