Kids today need a spiritual tool-box to approach life's challenges and daily decisions. JewSTU uses art as the primary tool to cultivate awareness, express it, and connect to oneself, others and beyond. In this six-week workshop, kids will use a variety of media to create artwork based on social-emotional themes rooted in Jewish wisdom. They will design and lead a final session for
an underprivileged community group of their choice as an act of tikkun olam (repairing the world). Key skills they will develop: leadership,
listening, collaboration, empowerment to social justice.
