Life as a Curator

http://www.scarsdalewomansclub.org/ Laura Vookles, chief curator of collections at the Hudson River Museum, will speak on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, about her experiences working in different museum departments.  She will focus on the evolution of her field into the digital era using digital imagery and the internet for research and communication.

Ms. Vookles has organized and written numerous essays for Museum publications including, among others, "The Croton Aqueduct:  Rural Resources Meet Urban Needs."
