Not Your Kids Book Club for Adults

For parents,

writers, educators and book lovers interested in books for young adults, the Scarsdale Public Library is

sponsoring a monthly program of contemporary literature for young adults.  The first in the series of the “Not Your Kids

Book Club for Adults” will be held on Wednesday, October 16, between 1 and 2 pm
at the library.

The sessions will be hosted by Scarsdale resident Sheela

Chari, whose debut children’s novel, VANISHED,

was a 2012 APALA Children’s Literature honor book, an Edgar Award nominee for

best juvenile mystery and was featured on the Today show with Al’s Book Club

for Kids.

Subsequent sessions will be held on November 13 and December 11.
