Scarsdale Forum General Membership Meeting

The
Scarsdale Forum, Inc. (the “Forum”) cordially invites the public to its General
Membership Meeting on Thursday, October 3, 2013 in the Scott Room of the
Scarsdale Library at 8 p.m. A reception honoring former School Board Trustees
and Presidents Elizabeth Guggenheimer and Jill Spieler will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Following
the business portion of the meeting, Scarsdale Mayor Robert Steves will speak
on “The State of the Village.”

The
second half of the evening’s program will feature a presentation by the Forum’s
Sustainable Scarsdale and Fiscal Affairs (Scarsdale) Committees, entitled
“Mulching: Good for the Village and Good for your Lawn.”

A
question and answer period will follow each presentation.

The
Scarsdale Forum is a 109 year old civic organization dedicated to improving
life in Scarsdale. The Forum studies important and timely issues affecting the
Village, the School District, and the County, and provides input and
recommendations to these governmental bodies through the issuance of public
reports and other public statements.
