Scarsdale Library Chess Tournament for Children

            The call is out for chess
players ages seven and up to participate in the Scarsdale Library Chess
Tournament with John Gallagher. The tournament will be held on Saturday, July
27, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.  This is not
an elimination tournament so every child plays in every round.  The only requirement is being able to play an
entire game without making any illegal moves. All participants receive a prize.
Lunch will be provided for participants. Registration is required on the
library website www.scarsdalelibrary.org.
