Financical Planning Association of Greater Hudson Valley "Speaks"

The Financial Planning Association of Greater Hudson Valley is introducing a new "FPA-GHV Speaks" Patch Blog. We facilitate consumers' financial education in Westchester & Rockland communities.

The Financial Planning Association of Greater Hudson Valley is pleased to introduce our new “FPA-GHV Speaks” Patch Blog. We hope you will become part of the conversation.

The Financial Planning Association (FPA®) is the largest membership organization for personal financial planning experts in the U.S. There are about 100 local chapters nationwide.

We help connect thousands of consumers to competent financial planners who engage in ethical conduct and clear, complete disclosure to those they serve.  The objective of  Financial Planners is to deliver advice using an objective and client-centered process.

It is a real privilege for me to continue the efforts of the FPA-GHV. Our chapter began in 1987 and thanks to the dedication and efforts of past presidents and board members; we are now a chapter of over 240 financial planning members and a history of accomplishments.

As current Chapter President, I plan to build upon this foundation and facilitate consumers’ financial education in the Westchester and Rockland communities. We’ve started this blog to demonstrate in specific ways the advantages of utilizing a qualified, holistic financial planner for advice on savings, retirement planning, insurance needs, estate planning, personal wealth management and various concerns about your money and finances.

We will continue to focus on our community involvement and deepening alliances with The United Way, Westchester Community College, PACE University and GreenPath. In so doing, we will look to strengthen and expand our community initiatives and assistance.

We will remain a community focused on fostering the value of financial planning and advancing the practice and profession for the benefit of those we assist.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you,

Mark Brownstein

President, FPA-Greater Hudson Valley
