"A Special Jury Prize Documentary Winner at the Sundance Film Festival, Josh Fox, Director of Gasland, chronicles his search to discover what gas drilling in the Marcellus Shale might do to his beloved Delaware River watershed. Should he and his neighbors sign the leases they received in the mail? Gasland documents Josh’s cross-county odyssey to find out if the controversial process of hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, is as safe for our aquifers as the gas industry claims. A discussion on what we know and don’t know about chemicals used in hydraulic fracturing follows the movie. Runs two hours."
