Author's Talk On Yoga Draws Packed House At JCC Mid-Westchester

Presentation, Q&A examined history of Yoga.

William J. Broad, author and senior science writer at The New York Times, as well as a lifelong yoga practitioner, discussed his new book The Science of Yoga:  The Risks and The Rewards to an audience of more than 160 at the JCC’s Bendheim Performing Arts Center on Sunday.

Broad, a Larchmont resident, was introduced by Jacques Steinberg, author of The Gatekeepers and You Are an Ironman.  Broad then gave a presentation on the history of yoga through modern day, his research and findings for his book and then opened the program to questions from the audience.
