Scarsdale High’s H.E.L.P. Animals Club Assists Pets Alive Westchester

Members of the Scarsdale High School H.E.L.P. Animals Club have so far raised more than $300 to help pay for supplies and materials to paint and refurbish the laundry room at Elmsford-based Pets Alive Westchester.

According to the club’s faculty liaison, World Language teacher Laura Bell, the money was raised through a “Cutest Pet Contest” at the school where people voted on the cutest pet among 32 entrants.

The contest is not over; ballots will be accepted until Monday, Feb. 3. All proceeds will benefit Pets Alive Westchester.
