Scarsdale Middle School Students Raise $8,000 for Thanksgiving Turkey Drive

Scarsdale Middle School students, working with the Westchester Food Bank, raised $8,000 to help pay for Thanksgiving dinners for underprivileged Westchester families.

Under the “Chores for Charity” fundraising drive, each student in the school’s Butler House completed chores for which they received money. Students didn’t stop at one chore, many of them racked up a host of them.

The students then donated the money to the food bank for its Turkey Drive for Thanksgiving program.
