Scarsdale Police Launch Toys for Tots Drive

The Scarsdale Police Benevolent Association is collecting toys this month as part of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program.

Two boxes have been set up in the lobby of police headquarters, located at 50 Tompkins Road in Scarsdale, to collect the toys until Dec. 18. The toys will then be turned over to the Marine Corps Reserve for distribution.

The department requests that all donated toys are new and unwrapped.

“The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community,” said officials in a statement.
