Work of Scarsdale Nurse Practitioner Recognized at National Conference

From the Nurse Practitioner Association New York State:

Nancy Manister, Scarsdale nurse practitioner and leader in the Nurse Practitioner Association New York State, recently traveled to Saratoga Springs, New York for the NPA’s annual conference, where nurse practitioners such as Manister were recognized for the important roles they play in the state’s health care system. She was joined at the event by New York State Health Commissioner Donna Frescatore, who is Governor Cuomo’s point person to implement New York State’s health exchange to comply with the Affordable Care Act.

The 29th Annual Conference was the largest gathering of nurse practitioners ever, as 600 NPs from all over the state converged upon Saratoga Springs to discover the latest information in regards to primary caregiving with 65 different events and learning labs, along with an update to the NPA’s legislative agenda and its efforts to remove artificial practice barriers for all nurse practitioners.
