Scarsdale Releases Leaf Season Public Safety Information

The Village of Scarsdale asks that residents practice safety when dealing with their leaves this fall.

From the Village of Scarsdale:

As we approach the Fall and Leaf season this very important public safety message is being provided:

Residents are strongly reminded to please follow these important safe street tips:

  1. All leaf piles must be stored off the roadway . Leaf piles in the roadway create traffic obstacles for pedestrians and motorists as well as clogged storm drains during rainfalls.
  2. Keep all leaf piles free of foreign materials, such as twigs, branches , plants and grass clippings to avoid clogging of the leaf vacuum machines.

If you have a lawn care contractor please advise them of these requirements.
