Two Scarsdale Houses Considered for Historic Preservation

The Scarsdale Committee for Historic Preservation will consider adding two more houses to its registry, when the committee next meets on Nov. 19.


Homes at 147 Bradley Road and 8 Heathcote Road will be considered. The Bradley Road house was built in 1948, while the Heathcote Road home was built in 1907, according to the committee.


Additionally, the group will also review ongoing work on some proposed changes to the Scarsdale Village Code.

The committee will meet at 8 p.m. on the 19th in Rutherford Hall in Scarsdale Village Hall, 1001 Post Road.


Committee members include Paul Diamond, Chair, Marjorie Ann Meiman, Jill Raizen Serling, Joyce Hirsch, Alan Steinfeld, William Silverman and Abigal Olsen. Jennifer Constantin is the alternate, Eric Rothschild, an ex-officio member and Eda Newhouse, the Conservation Advisory Council liaison.
