Best Celebrity Bridal Makeup

With so many makeup looks to choose from on your wedding day, it's hard to pin down what look is best for you. Take some inspiration from these celebrity brides - they all look flawless!

I love using celebrities as inspiration for different bridal makeup looks. All of these brides look gorgeous from head to toe but they each take home a prize for emphasizing their individual best features.

Best Brows: Kim Kardashian – I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, "Eyebrows are sisters, not twins" – no two are exactly alike. Unless you are a freak-of-nature like Kim Kardashian who has the most identical eyebrows I have ever seen. Filling in your brows on your wedding day is a must – Defined brows draw attention to the eye and frame the face.

Best Red Lip: Gwen Stefani – No one rocks a ruby red lip like Gwen. Of course she chose her signature color to wear the day she married Gavin Hubba-Hubba Rossdale! The key to wearing red lips on your wedding day is to keep the rest of your makeup light and fresh. In the months leading up to your wedding, search for a red with a blue undertone in a longwear formula so you and the groom don’t look like you are wearing matching lipstick.

Best Cheek: Molly Sims – I’m sure all of us would kill for Molly Sims cheekbones but I’ll settle for the next best thing – The perfect pink blush inspired by Molly’s luscious peony’s. If you are planning on taking photos outside, bump up your blush as daylight tends to make it disappear when photographed. Extend the life of your blush by using a cream or gel formula first and then setting it with a powder blush in the same tone.

Best Smoky Eye: Nicole Richie - I usually talk brides against going really smoky on their wedding day but I’m sure Nicole had her Makeup Artist within 10 feet of her for the majority of her wedding day for touch-ups. I love the taupe shadow paired with a nude lip and warm cheek. Gorgeous!
