Catherine Sheehan, Hartsdale, Dies at 97

Catherine C. Sheehan of Hartsdale died April 13, 2013 at the age of 97. Catherine was born in Ireland on December 16, 1915 to Joseph P. and Margaret Brennan Kenny. On September 10, 1949, she married John T. Sheehan in St. Margaret's Church in Middle Village, NY . Catherine was a Registered Nurse and worked for many years in Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn.

She is survived by her sons John Thomas Sheehan of Middle Village, Joseph Patrick Sheehan of Pearl River, NY  and Francis Xavier Sheehan of Hartsdale as well as her 8 grandchildren. Her husband John T. Sheehan predeceased her as did her brother James Kenny.

Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3-5 PM and 7-9PM Her Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10:00 at Sacred Heart Church Hartsdale with interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
