Community Members Mourn Peekskill Murder Victim

Funeral services for Terry Camper were held this morning at United Methodist Church in Peekskill.

A few hundred family members and friends packed the United Methodist Church in Peekskill for the funeral of Terry Camper earlier Friday.

Camper was shot dead in his car last week as part of a plot allegedly staged by his wife and her lover, according to Peekskill police.

Camper, 53, worked at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Montrose and had a side business as a taxi-driver. He graduated from Peekskill High School in 1978.

After the funeral service, Camper’s family headed to Hillside Cemetery in Cortlandt for the burial. Check back later for a full story and updates.
