At 11:30 AM, Mr. Carter Thornton will tantalize you with renditions of both guitar and banjo.  However, he will not be doing his set alone.  All the way from the exotic and mysterious land of Austerlitz, New York, comes the band Bulle.  This original and refreshing improvisational music group will be providing support for Mr. Thornton’s sure-to-be-memorable performance.

The Farmer’s Market, a down-to-earth farm stand, opens at 8 o’clock in the morning with fruits, veggies and baked goods direct from the farm.  Come to the market to purchase fresh produce and take the opportunity to support small and privately-owned farms in the Greenburg community.  The amazing entertainment starts at 10:30.  There is a slight transition after the first set that is the perfect opportunity to show your support of family-run farms and local businesses.  The Concert series continues at 11:30 AM.

The Market is located on East Hartsdale Avenue, at Desanti Plaza, across from the Hartsdale Train Station.  Even if you just show up for fresh fruits and veggies, stay for the musical talent.  We’ll see you on Saturday!  The concerts are organized by Town Clerk Judith Beville.

7 year old son Jake Goodman is having a lemonade/cookie/art stand to raise money for kids with cancer on Saturday July 19th at 11am at 47 Joyce Road, Hartsdale. A few local stores are graciously donating some goods as well

He lost one Grandma to cancer, his other Grandma is a breast cancer survivor and his Aunt is currently battling breast cancer, and the list goes on unfortunately. The Goodman family has raised over $325,000 for cancer research for the Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and Jake, on his own, wants to help out.
