toys wanted for children in low income housing

If you want to help children who live in low income housing – please read the following e mail from Raju Abraham, executive director of the Greenburgh Housing Authority.  Anything you can do to make these children smile and feel special would be enormously appreciated.

Dear Mr. Feiner,

It is that time of the year again where we spread good cheer into the lives of others during the Holiday season. The Housing Authority over the past many years had distributed toys for more than 80 children who live on the state and Federal sites during the Holiday season. Unfortunately this year our local Fire department due to budget constraints and  lack of donations are unable to help us, leaving our children without the gifts that they so eagerly hoped for.

With very little time, I am pooling in all my resources to bring a little cheer for the needy children. I do hope your good office can help us in this regard.

Toys can be dropped off at the housing office during office hours, after office hours please contact Charrise Simmons at 914 602 7058.

Thanking you in advance,

Sincerely,
