Eastchester Man's Cause of Death Determined

The medical examiner's office says two factors contributed to Frank Forgione's death.

Drowning and heart disease are the reasons why Eastchester's Frank Forgione died, according to Newsday. Forgione's body was found by authorities in the Hudson River back in October. The body was located off the shore of the Rockland County community of Stony Point.

The 60-year-old man had been missing for five days. He was last seen leaving an Armonk diner on October 18 at 2 a.m. Forgione's car, a black 1992 Lexus, was found on land near his body.

The medical examiner's office says it was not able to determine the precise cause of death. However, investigators do say that they could not find any injuries to Forgione's body, according to lohud.
