Fight at Gourmet Chef; Pot Pipe Found: Scarsdale Police

An alleged fight at a Scarsdale eatery ended with one employee in handcuffs and the other sprawled injured on the floor, local police told Patch.

Cops recieved a call about a fight at The Gourmet Chef Wednesday afternoon of last week, and arrived to find the victim laying on the kitchen floor. The victim told cops he was arguing with another employee at the Wilmot Road business when a third man came up behind him and punched him in the back of the head, police said.

The victim then collapsed, smashing his face on the ground; the victim’s manager corroborated the account to police, authorities said, and the alleged attack was also recorded on security cameras.

The accused attacked was arrested and charged with assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor. He was released on $250 bail, paid by his brother.

The victim was transported to White Plains hospital, police said.

A Scarsdale woman phoned local cops last week when finding an unusual apparatus in her new home—which turned out to be a multicolored glass pipe for smoking tobacco or marijuana, cops said.

The 37-year-old Rock Creek Lane resident contacted police last Monday evening after finding the pipe in her boiler room. The woman believed in was drug paraphernalia, police said.

Cops arrived and took the multicolored pipe, which contained an odorless residue, according to reports.
