Major Downtown Danbury Prostitution, John, Drug Bust

Danbury Police charged 13 people with drugs, prostitution or patronizing a prostitute Wednesday between 1 and 8 p.m. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Danbury Police Department's Special Investigations Division and the Community Conditions Unit charged six men with patronizing a prostitute, four women with prostitution and three people with drug offenses Wednesday.

These charges arose from an ongoing effort by the Danbury Police Department to improve the quality of life downtown.

Robin Brooks, 41, of New Street, was charged at about 3:06 p.m. Wednesday with sale of narcotics, possession of narcotics and possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana. Brooks was held on a $5,000 bond. The Danbury Police reported on Oct. 18 Brooks was also charged with prostitution in a similar crack down by police, making this the second sweep in five days.

William Lamprecht, 53, Hemlock Lane, Wingdale, NY, was charged at about 3:06 p.m. Wednesday with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on a $500 bond.

Christina Eaton, 34, of Spring Street, Danbury, was charged at about 3:06 p.m. Wednesday with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. she was held on a $2,000 bond.

Tiffany Fitzgerald, 22, of New Street, Danbury, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and prostitution. She was released on a $1,000 bond for a scheduled appearance in Danbury Superior Court on Nov. 2.

Susan Daniels, 49, of City Streets, Danbury, was charged at about 5:34 p.m. Wednesday with possession of drug paraphernalia and prostitution. She was held on a $2,000 bond.

Victoria Pileggi, 43, Bells Place, Danbury, was charged at about 5:54 p.m. Wednesday with prostitution. She was held on a $1,000 bond.

Jennifer Collins, 31, Spring Street, Danbury, was charged at about 5 p.m. Wednesday with prostitution. She was held on a $1,000 bond.

Luis Vasquez, 33, Town Hill Avenue, Danbury, was charged at about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday with patronizing a prostitute. He was held on a $500 bond.

Fernando Novillo, 41, Davis Street, Danbury, was charged at about 8 p.m. Wednesday with patronizing a prostitute. He was held on a $500 bond.

Joe Suchite, 50, South Street, Patterson, NY, was charged at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday with patronizing a prostitute. He was released on a $500 bond for a Nov. 2 date in Danbury Superior Court.

Ariel Baldoceda, 19, Osborne St., Danbury, was charged at about 8 p.m. Wednesday with patronizing a prostitute. He was held released on a $1,000 bond for a Nov. 2 date in Danbury Superior Court.

Edgar Gonzales, 32, Harmony Street, Danbury, was charged at about 7:23 p.m. Wednesday with patronizing a prostitute. He was released on a $500 bond for a Nov. 2 date in Danbury Superior Court.

Angelo Nunez, 38, Peace Street, Danbury, was charged at about 1:48 p.m. Wednesday with patronizing a prostitute. He was released on a $500 bond for a Nov. 2 date in Danbury Superior Court.

By the way, I saw these hookers out on the streets THE VERY NEXT DAY. These arrests accomplish nothing.

Hookers have been there for 50 years, Prox. Why would you be naive enough to think arresting two of them would put an end to the tradition? (Is this your new log-in name, now?)

no just people probably in some level of distress providing a service since biblical time. an animal is a person that's calling another person an animal.
