More ID Theft Cases In Scarsdale

A Scarsdale woman was one of the latest victims of identity theft.

According to Scarsdale Police, the Crossway resident told SPD on September 13 that she noticed fraudulent charges made to her Chase debit card. An unknown person made two charges, one of the charges was for $500 and the second for $300.

A charge was made by a correctional facility for an inmate care package, according to the report

And a second Scarsdale woman reported to SPD on September 4 that an unknown person opened a QVC account in her name, according to the police report. The resident had received a call from QVC stating she had an outstanding bill.

Police told both women to have their credit monitored.
