Keep those iPhones close. Two New York residents reported to Scarsdale Police this past week that their cell phones were allegedly swiped.
A Scarsdale resident told SPD that on December 5, his daughter's iPhone was stolen from her backpack at Scarsdale High School.
His daughter had the $700, white iPhone 4S in backpack in the morning and according to his iCloud account, the phone was last at Scarsdale High School, according to the police report.
Also on December 5, a Purchase resident told SPD that her $400, white iPhone 4S was stolen while she was at a cycling class in Scarsdale. She accidentally left her white iPhone, in its black case, at the studio and returned a few hours later. The staff did not find the phone after cleaning the room, according to the police report.
She also used iCloud to track her phone, which last showed it was at the cycling studio. Police spoke with the store manager and she reported the incident to her company, according to SPD.
