PD: Thief Swipes $150K Of Metal In Scarsdale

A thief stole numerous metal pieces from the Village of Scarsdale's Water Department yard.

This thief must have had a very large getaway car for his latest job.

According to Scarsdale Police, an unknown person stole $150,000 worth of piping from the village's Water Department storage yard.

The department reported to SPD on January 14 that they discovered "all the ductile iron and cast iron fittings, elbows, t's, crosses and reducers ranging from six inches to 16 inches in diameter were missing from the yard," according to a police report.
