Guns are not the problem It is the people who use them for evil. Had the principal or teachers had a concealed weapon they could have minimized the loss Hollywood television and the constant viewing of guns, bombs knives axes you name it is what needs to be banned. When I went to school we said the Lord,s prayer and shootings like this were never heard of nor all the other ones across the country. Divorce, drugs immaturity denial can all be part of the problem oh and mental illness I do not believe machine guns used in war should be available to the public but rifles for those who love to hunt or hand guns for those who need to protect themselves from burglars or one in your car should someone come up to rob you when you are parked. Psychos should not be allowed to buy guns. My heart breaks for the families as I know the pain of losing 2 children You never get over it some days are better than others but there are days your heart won,t quit aching it is awful I will pray for you always.

Thank you, Kim. I would like to mirror your feelings if I may. I am not so articulate as many who make deep heartfelt comments here but I feel your pain and can't stop thinking "why"? Are violent video games (with guns) partially to blame? Earle R.-- Hatboro, Pa.

As I sit here watching my 89 years old mother peacefully taking a nap on this Christmas evening 2012. My heart breaks for all of the families that lost their little angels a day normally shared opening Christmas presents and attending church to celebrate Jesus's birth - instead tears of loneliness and sadness. Grieving to just have just one more chance to hold their little angels and to tell them how much they were loved. My sweet Sisters and Brothers wipe your tears for a brief moment - close your eyes and invision your little angels in the Lords home of Paradise - filled with peace, love, sunshine, heavenly music for eternally theirs forever and ever. And to think you have your own little angel to be your messager of prayers to the Lord. We as God's children are the ones to be left behind to mourn their loved ones - keep the Faith my friends for I will be praying to all of the little angels and the big angels up there with the Lord Himself. I hoped my words were a little comforting. We are never alone - GOD is always with US. God Bless ! Love from Wanda Anderson, Nicol Anderson (my daughter), Ethan, Kyle (my grandsons) and Michael Thornton (their father and last but not least my wonderful mother Winnie Landry (we call her Winnie-the-Pooh). It is truly sad that we must endure this kind of terror in what used to be good country. It is almost as if new terrors are being produced, or happen rather, everyday in this country. Take heart everyone ,and especially those of you good good people who, like John here, have to actually play a role in all these terrible events. Just know God is still on his throne and he sees all, and there will be justice. God Bless you Newton TBPace Ga
