Scarsdale Police Log: Three Warrant Arrests

Excerpts from the Scarsdale Police Log. The following information was supplied by the Scarsdale Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Scarsdale Police made three warrant arrests recently.

On July 31, police arrested a 73-year-old Yonkers man on a warrant. Police arrested Frederick A. Pfeiffer on a warrant for failing to appear on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle (second degree.)  He was released on personal recognizance and scheduled to appear in Village Justice Court.

Police arrested a New Rochelle woman on a bench warrant on July 31. Diane L. Wallace, 42, was released on personal recognizance and scheduled to appear in Village Justice Court.

On August 1, police arrested a 52-year-old White Plains woman on a warrant. Police arrested Barbara C. Sharpe. She was released on personal recognizance and scheduled to appear in Village Justice Court.

If this is happening in a community like Scarsdale, then as a taxpayer I am irritated. Where are allRead More the taxes going if teachers are paying for their own classroom supplies? There has to be some degree of accountability regarding our tax dollars. We are the highest-taxed county in the nation and we can't afford notebooks and post-it notes? As a community member, I am not going to "lend a hand." I already do that with my tax dollars.
