Police: Scarsdale Man Home During Break-In
Scarsdale Police are probing the lastest home burglary.
A Hutchinson Avenue resident was home working in his office when a burglar broke in, breaking a window and swiping valuables.
At around 6:00 p.m. on February 4, the homeowner said he was home alone and heard a noise, according to the Scarsdale Police report. He went out to check the house and found opened drawers and missing items.
He did not see anyone in the house, according to the SPD report.

Police responded to the scene, investigating the house and garage. SPD found a rear door with a broken, glass pane and said the burglar likely entered after breaking the glass and unlocking the door.
Scarsdale Police are investigating the incident.
