An alleged burglar struck another Scarsdale home this past week.
On November 30, a would-be thief broke into a Continental Road home and ransacked a master bedroom, according to a Scarsdale Police report.
The residents told SPD that after returning home at 10:00 p.m. that night, their 15-year-old son walked into the living room and noticed the "sliding door had been shattered," and the "screen door had been pushed open," according to the report.
Police investigated the scene and noticed the master bedroom closet "had been tossed by perpetrator(s,)" according to the report.
SPD also found that all doors and windows had been locked, however the security alarm was not activated.
Police are investigating the case.
