Scarsdale PD: Missing Jewels, Stolen Silver

Excerpts from the Scarsdale Police Log. The following information was supplied by the Scarsdale Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Tisdale Road resident reported to Scarsdale Police that more than $67,000 in jewelry was swiped from her home.

The resident told SPD that a $26,000 diamond bracelet, a $13,900 pearl and diamond ring, a $22,000 diamond watch and $5,400 in gold coins went missing from her house between October 1, 2012 and January 5, 2013.

The items were left in a bag in her attic and she noticed that they were missing on January 5.

Another Scarsdale resident reported to SPD on December 31 that he was the victim of a theft. The Boulder Brook Road resident told police that someone stole a $10,000 silver Passover salt dish and two silver cutlery sets worth $10,000 each from his home.
