Scarsdale PD: Missing Metal Cow, $4K In Damaged Lights

Excerpts from the Scarsdale Police Log. The following information was supplied by the Scarsdale Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Must have been a cow-lover. A Scarsdale resident reported to Scarsdale Police on September 9 that his $400 metal cow statue was swiped from his Popham Road yard. The statue was present before he left for a trip on August 30 and swiped during his absence.

In other police news, two residents had outdoor lights stolen or damaged last week.

Police said a Church Lane resident reported $4,000 in outdoor light fixtures at his home were damaged on September 5. The underground lights were broken and ripped out of the ground, according to the SPD report.

Also on September 5, a Madison Road resident reported to SPD that $400 in landscape lights were swiped from his yard.
