Scarsdale Police: $27K In Silver Stolen From Cambridge Road Home

Excerpts from the Scarsdale Police Log. The following information was supplied by the Scarsdale Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Cambridge Road resident had over $27,000 in sterling silver stolen from his home.

According to the Scarsdale Police report, the 42-year-old man told SPD that in July, he noticed "nine serving pieces of sterling silver with a Georgian pattern" missing, along with 18, sterling silver, place settings.

The resident told SPD that a wooden chest that stored the silver was also missing.

He told SPD that the silver was given as a gift in 2002. SPD is investigating.
