Scarsdale Police: $50K in Jewelry Reported Stolen from Innes Road Home

Over $50K of Jewels Swiped

An Innes Road resident reported to Scarsdale police on Aug. 14 that more than $50,000 worth of jewels were stolen from her bedroom.

According to the SPD report, the homeowner reported her diamond stud earrings, gold and diamond earrings, a gold chain, a diamond and gold necklace, emerald necklace, pearl necklace and a gold time piece were swiped from her master bedroom drawer between July 24 and Aug. 18.

Attempted Break-In On Dickel Road

Scarsdale Police are investigating an attempted burglary on Dickel Road.

According to the police log, the homeowner noticed a window screen at the back of the home that had been cut overnight on August 17/18.

The resident was home all night and did not hear or see anything, according to the SPD.

Police are investigating.
