Scarsdale Police and Fire departments responded to a car fire on Stratton Road August 21.
The homeowner told police that he woke up to "popping sounds" at about 4:00 a.m., according to the SPD report.
The man looked outside and saw his wife's 2004 Mini Cooper "fully engulfed in flames," according to the SPD report.
No one was in the car at the time of the fire. SFD put out the fire and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
