Scarsdale Police Log: Stolen Change, GPS From Carthage Road Cars

Two Scarsdale residents had spare change and GPS units swiped from their vehicles overnight.

On August 16, a Carthage Road resident had ten dollars in change from his unlocked and un-alarmed Honda Accord stolen, according to the police report.

The resident's son left he car parked overnight at the end of the driveway. The thief rummaged through the glove compartment, but did not steal an EZ Pass or clothes from the trunk, according to the report.

Also on August 16, another Carthage Road resident had items from her vehicle swiped overnight.

The resident's Honda Civic, also left unlocked in the driveway, was entered overnight. This time, the thief stole two GPS units and about $5-$15 in quarters, according to the police report.
