Scarsdale Police: Thief Steals Generator

A Scarsdale man is the latest victim of post-Sandy thieves.
The Richbell Close resident had an $800 generator stolen from his property on November 5, according to the Scarsdale Police log.
The alleged thief took off with the 2 KW gas generator from the 70-year-old man's driveway, according to SPD. The victim had been using the generator since Hurricane Sandy struck and left the neighborhood without power.

Police canvassed the area and interviewed a nearby Con Ed worker with negative results. Police are investigating.
