Access to Southbound Sprain Brook Pkwy from Eastbound 287 Limited

Here's an advisory from the state DOT about travel this week.

Motorists are advised that beginning Tuesday, October 1st thru Saturday, October 5th the New York State Department of Transportation will be closing the Sprain Brook Parkway southbound ramp from I-287 eastbound (Exit 3), between the hours of 7PM and 6AM for bridge demolition work.

Please follow the established detour.

Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers. Travelers are also reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of the driver’s license.
