Ask Astorino Session Set For Scarsdale

As part of an ongoing effort to reach out to Westchester residents and listen to what is on their minds, will host his fourth “Ask Astorino” town hall meeting on Wednesday, September 19. The event is being held at 7 p.m. at the

Scarsdale Mayor will be introducing Astorino. The county executive will then give an update on the progress his administration is making in delivering on his three major goals: providing tax relief, preserving essential services and promoting economic development. 

Area residents are invited to bring any questions or ideas they would like to discuss face-to-face with the county executive.

The popular “Ask Astorino” town hall series has drawn crowds in North Salem, Pelham and White Plains and will continue to be held on a monthly basis throughout the county.

If this is happening in a community like Scarsdale, then as a taxpayer I am irritated. Where are allRead More the taxes going if teachers are paying for their own classroom supplies? There has to be some degree of accountability regarding our tax dollars. We are the highest-taxed county in the nation and we can't afford notebooks and post-it notes? As a community member, I am not going to "lend a hand." I already do that with my tax dollars.
