POPHAM ROAD CONSTRUCTION NOTICE/TRAFFIC ALERT

Due to the around-the-clock work being performed by Verizon in conjunction with the Popham Road Bridge Replacement project, for the next 3-4 weeks, motorists travelling westbound on Popham Road will be prohibited from making left turns onto Garth Road at various busy traffic periods, as determined by the on-site Village of Scarsdale Police Department personnel.  High volumes of traffic and delays are expected.  Motorists are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes and avoid the Popham Road / Garth Road/Depot Place intersection during this period.  As an alternate route, westbound vehicular traffic is encouraged to turn left and travel south on Scarsdale Avenue, west to Harney Road and north to Garth Road.
