The candidates running in the November election hoping to represent Scarsdale had their chance to address residents and community members at last night's Candidate Forum.
The League of Women Voters of Scarsdale sponsored the forum held at the Scarsdale Public Library Thursday night.
The incumbents and hopefuls had the opportunity to address the voters and answer questions from the LWV and the crowd.
Participants included: NY Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, 88th District, Democrat, an incumbent, and NY Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins, District 35, Democrat, an incumbent–both whom are running unopposed in the November election.
The candidate forum also included: U.S. Congressman Eliot Engel, Democrat, incumbent, District 16; Joseph McLaughlin, Republican, who is running for the District 16 seat; and Joseph Diaferia, Green Party, who is running for the District 16 seat.
Tune in Monday for more coverage of the LWV Candidate Forum.
