Travel Advisory: Lane Closures On Sprain Brook Today

The following is an advisory from the NY DOT:

Motorists are advised that the New York State Department of Transportation will be conducting various lane closures on the southbound Sprain Brook Parkway between State Route 100B (Dobbs Ferry Road) and Jackson Avenue today until 3:00 p.m. for bridge maintenance activities. Delays are expected.

Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers.

Travelers are also reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of the driver’s license.
