Scarsdale is getting ready for a visit from Vice President Joseph Biden this evening.
The vice president will be traveling to Scarsdale tonight
"In the afternoon, the Vice President will travel to Scarsdale, New York, to attend a campaign event at 6:15 p.m.," the Office of the Vice President said in a statement. "The Vice President will return to Wilmington, Delaware, in the evening."
The Office of the Vice President did not confirm any details of the Scarsdale trip.
However, the WPCNR Main Street Journal is reporting that Biden "is expected to arrive by government jet at Westchester County Airport sometime after 5:30 p.m., and then be whisked by motorcade to a home in Scarsdale, where the private event is scheduled to be held."
According to WPCNR Main Street Journal, "The Vice-President is expected to be out of Scarsdale no later than 8:15 p.m. Thursday evening. Because Mr. Biden will be receiving VIP treatment with the U.S. Secret Service in charge of security, and his arrival will coincide with at least part of the rush hour, some traffic impact should be expected."
