All Polling Stations Open In Scarsdale

Hurricane Sandy has left most of the Village of Scarsdale in the dark. Fortunately, all Scarsdale polling stations have power for folks to cast ballots on Tuesday, November 6.

Scarsdale voters are in luck for Election Day tomorrow.

All polling places in the Village of Scarsdale now have electricity, according to Village Clerk Donna Conkling.

There are eight polling places in Scarsdale that will be open on Tuesday, November 6.

The sites are:

  • Edgewood School
  • Crossway Firehouse
  • Village Hall
  • Fox Meadow
  • Heathcote
  • Quaker Ridge
  • Greenacres Schools
  • Scarsdale Public Library

If this is happening in a community like Scarsdale, then as a taxpayer I am irritated. Where are allRead More the taxes going if teachers are paying for their own classroom supplies? There has to be some degree of accountability regarding our tax dollars. We are the highest-taxed county in the nation and we can't afford notebooks and post-it notes? As a community member, I am not going to "lend a hand." I already do that with my tax dollars.
