The Top Spot: A strong second quarter propelled the team over Pearl River as the Panthers scored five goals in the period to boost the team .

Jared Simon led all scorers with six goals and three assists in the win while Austin Doukas, Mason Brooks and Ben Frydman each scored once.

The Pearl River goals were scored by Pat Muldoon, Chris McGarry and Kyle McDonald. Lowell Hunt had 12 saves in the loss.


Yesterday’s Results

Sport: Boys Lacrosse

Game: Pelham vs. Scarsdale

Score: Pelham Won 9-6

Highlights: Gram Lambdin scored four goals and assisted on two others as the Pelicans blew by Scarsdale. David Wu had 16 assists in the win. Spencer Repp scored twice in the loss.


Sport: Girls Lacrosse

Game: Scarsdale vs. North Rockland

Score:  North Rockland Won 13-7

Highlights: Tara Monaghan scored four times as Kaitlyn Ray and Angela Kelly each found the back of the net three times in the win. Scarsdale’s Lindsay Rapp and Liz Felix each scored twice.


Sport: Softball

Game: Maria Regina vs. Scarsdale

Score:  Maria Regina Won 9-7

Highlights: Dana Goldstein was 2-3 in the loss with two RBI and two runs scored, Scarsdale’s Libby Gross also scored twice and picked up an RBI.


Today’s Schedule

In softball, Scarsdale will host Harrison at 4:30 p.m.
