The Scarsdale school district will let students out early Tuesday due to the inclement weather, Assistant Superintendent Linda Purvis announced.
"Because of the storm, all Scarsdale students will be dismissed early today," wrote Purvis in an email to parents. "Elementary students are already scheduled to be dismissed at noon, the Middle School will be dismissed at 11:20 and the High School at noon."
The area forecast calls for a steady snowfall into the mid-afternoon, with accumulations to reach about three inches. Temperatures will remain in the 30s throughout the day.
Purvis continued, "All parent-teacher conferences scheduled for today are cancelled, as are all after-school activities. We anticipate opening on time tomorrow morning."
