The Scarsdale School District will dismiss students early Wednesday for the Thanksgiving Recess, according to officials.
All schools are slated to close at noon on Wednesday, except for the middle school which will close at 11:20 a.m. Schools are scheduled to reopen at the normal time Monday, Dec. 2.
There is a slight chance that Wednesday's schedule could be impacted by the windy, wintery-mix storm headed toward the area from the southwest.
The storm, called Boreas, is expected to hit the area on Wednesday and end by Thanksgiving, but it has already caused travel delays in other parts of the nation.
