Edgemont Schools: Still Uncertain On School Tuesday
The district now has access to email post-Sandy. Parents will receive auto-calls tonight regarding if there will be school on Tuesday, November 6.
The Edgemont Public School district finally has access to school-based emails since Hurricane Sandy hit last Monday.
Power was restored to the Edgemont High School campus Sunday night, according to a school announcement. Both faculty and staff email access was also restored.
"Please note that emails sent to "mail.edgemont.org" addresses over the past week may NOT have been delivered due to the sustained outage. Additionally, staff members who still do not have power at their homes may not be able to answer emails as promptly as they would like," the announcement states.

Families, students and staff will be notified by auto-calls before 5:00 p.m. tonight on whether schools will re-open on Tuesday.
