Beginning on Monday, November 7 at 7:15 p.m., Rabbi Jonathan E. Blake, the new Senior Rabbi at Westchester Reform Temple (WRT), will lead a four session course titled, “Everything you need to know about Reform Judaism.” This series will explore the origins, history, philosophy,
theology, liturgy, politics, personalities, and controversies of Reform Judaism, and debunk common myths and misperceptions. Additional classes will be held on November 14, 21 and 28. If this is happening in a community like Scarsdale, then as a taxpayer I am irritated. Where are all…Read More the taxes going if teachers are paying for their own classroom supplies? There has to be some degree of accountability regarding our tax dollars. We are the highest-taxed county in the nation and we can't afford notebooks and post-it notes? As a community member, I am not going to "lend a hand." I already do that with my tax dollars.
