Last Chance: Heathcote Poetry Festival This Week

The is celebrating National Poetry Month with the Heathcote Art and Poetry Festival 2012. Below is an annoucement from the school:

• The 4th Annual Heathcote Art and Poetry Festival is taking place this week.
• Artwork and Poetry from Heathcote students will be on display in the main hall galleries.
• The gala schoolwide exhibit will be open on the mornings of April 25, April 26, and April 27 from 8:00-8:45 a.m.
• All family members are invited and welcome to visit and tour with their child. Please enter from the Main Door, Entrance #1. No Main Office sign-in is necessary for this event.
• National Poem in Your Pocket Day is April 26. We encourage everyone coming to Heathcote School on that day to have a poem in their pocket ready to share!
• Grade level student Poetry Anthologies-Heathcote Helps containing all of the poems presented at the festival will be available for purchase in May. All proceeds will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
